And, according to John, the new season will be bigger and better than ever before. “They’re going to do 20 shows this time instead of 15,” he revealed.

John’s excited to get back in the booth to bring Granddad back to life because of the awesome compensation he got in comparison to the amount of work he actually did.

Adult Swim announced today it has picked up the animated series Black Dynamite. Based on 2009′s critically-acclaimed feature film, Black Dynamite, the new 30-minute animated series will premiere in the spring of 2012. The Black Dynamite animated series further chronicles the exploits of the central character, Black Dynamite, and his crew. Under the direction of Carl Jones (The Boondocks), the series features the voice talent of Michael Jai White, Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley and Byron Minns, all of whom starred in the feature film.

Finally, Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the creators of  “Avatar: the Last Airbender” are readying the next chapter in the animated saga, titled  “The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra.” The new series is due out mid-2012 on Nickelodeon.

 

I’d also like to add that I’m proud to say that i’ve been hard at work as part of the amazing team on this project as a Storyboard Artist/ Key Animator on this here in Korea with my big brothers. Ok, back to work! :-)
