Morning warm-up featuring Sun Wu kong “The Monkey King” again. love this lil guy. This is a pretty sloppy sketch, but who cares right? I just finished 2 of the 4 “how to Art” tutorials in my new artbook : “Midnight Marauders: The Art of LeSean Thomas Vol.2” i’m putting out just in time for sandiego Comicon. its going to be serious and people are going to want it! 124 pages, full color, hardcover, featuring tons of new stuff produced inside of ’06- ’07 (i’m currently working on the ’07 stuff, hee,hee) and full color tutorials with photos step by step. It will be the big follow-up to my monster sketchbible “Nervous Breakdowns: The Art of LeSean Thomas Vol.1” which has garnered praise all over so far. Should be a great coffee table book and a great companion book to Vol.1. Hopefully people will enjoy Vol.2 when it drops…more news on it as it nears completion in the coming months.
