MO' C-BUSTAZ!!
I’ve been quite the perfectionist in the past few weeks. i’ve re-thumbed a page 6 times to get one particular emotional sequence with Samberry right. I’m at a point where things have to be perfect. Every panel has to make sense to the story. And making sure when an individual action happens, its done in a series of pages, not just a one panel splash showing 5 things happening at once, like traditional 22-page comics. One thing i love about Graphic novel formatting is that it allows me to pace things to my liking. not cramming a huge, important fight with multiple figures into 6 panels at another writer’s expense.
